Text books etc generally derive the Michaelis-Menten equation for the irreversible case i.e $$\ce{E + S <=> ES -> E +P}$$ I can't see how to do it for the reversible case i.e $$\ce{E + S <=> ES <=> E +P}\;$$ Is it possible?
